Happy New Year! Every year, I look forward to a refresh. I know it may be overhyped, but I love the reset. After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I love taking this time to reflect and recharge for the year ahead.

2021 word of the year – Steadfast.
Every year I like to pick a word to define my goals for the year. I still do a few resolutions but like having a word that encompasses everything. While trying to decide my word, I had a few ideas – consistency (which has been a word before), intentional, present. I didn’t want to do a word I had previously done, so I asked my brother for a word that combined all three. He suggested steadfast. resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.
I want to be more consistent in all aspects of my life- with my health, my workouts, my passions (this blog!). Consistency has always been something I’ve struggled with and I’m hoping to find ways to improve it this year.
I want to be more present in all aspects in my life. I plan to do this by eliminating things that don’t truly serve me, allowing more time for the things that matter. Putting priority in the things and people in my life that deserve it.
I want to be more intentional in all aspects of my life- intentional in the time spent with family. When I’m with them, I’m with them. When I’m working, I’m working. When I’m working out, I’m working out. Etc. Less scrolling, more time getting what I need to get done and getting off.
I hope you have a wonderful 2022! If you make a vision board, please tag me so I can see. XX
