Happy Friday! We’re only a few days away from the official start of Fall and there’s only one thing on my mind.. a nice glass of wine. Seriously, is there anything better than a warm evening on the patio with your people and your favorite wine? I’ll wait… NOPE. Fall in Tennessee is the perfect patio weather, so to celebrate the (hopefully) lower temps approaching, I’m sharing my Favorite Wine Spots in Chattanooga and a fun giveaway!
Chattanooga is great year round, but something about the Fall just really makes it feel alive. Chattanooga seems like it was made for Fall. It’s been growing so much and we’re starting to become different little ‘neighborhoods’, each with a fun personality!
FAVORITE WINE SPOTS IN CHATTANOOGA:
Number One. The Edwin Hotel. With two amazing bars to grab your favorite red, white or rosé, how could this not snag the number one spot? Whitebird is located on the bottom floor and the patio is right next to our historic Pedestrian Bridge. We love a romatic date night here or Sunday brunch with the girls. While it’s rep is for elevated dining, the food is great but you can come very casual if you’d like! Head here after a workout and feel right at home on the patio. Upstairs, we love Whiskey Thief. The panoramic views of our city overlooking the Tennessee river are still breathtaking even a year after first being on this patio. This is one place you must go and checkout.
Number Two. The second spot on my list is STIR. Their huge patio overlooking Station Street is perfect for girl’s night or a fun, romantic date. A glass of wine accompanies their incredible food so well. My favorite dish? The Ahi Tuna Salad.
Number Three. Easy Bistro. Rosé lovers rejoice! Easy Bistro has the most delicious (an instagrammable) Frosé in Chattanooga. The lemon-y notes with hints of strawberries, this take on rosé is like an adult slushy! Grab one on their patio with the perfect view of our famous aquarium.
Number Four. Tony’s Pasta Shop. While Il Primo will always hold a special spot in my heart for my favorite Italian Food, Tony’s is a VERY close second. Maybe even tied! We love doing date night at Tony’s on a Tuesday Evening. They offer Gluten Free Pasta + have incredible wine specials, $5 a glass or $20 a bottle!
Number Five. Wine Over Water. My all time favorite, most incredible view, place to grab a glass of wine is at the annual Wine Over Water event. There isn’t anything else that screams Chattanooga like a wine tasting on our famous Pedestrian Bridge. Each Fall, this event places you in the heart of the city, surrounded by the South’s famous changing Fall leaves and gives you a full night of wine tasting. If you are not from Chattanooga, this is the perfect event to travel to the city. There are multiple brunches, lunches, dinners and tastings throughout the weekend that accompany Wine Over Water and it will give you a true taste of how wonderful our city is. In addition to wine, the presenting sponsor Publix will be offering complimentary charcuterie on the bridge and local restaurants will be offering a taste of their menu. Tickets are now on sale and if they don’t sell out prices will rise closer to the event, so get them now (click here to purchase)! Trust me when I say, you don’t want to miss my favorite event of the year! This will be my third year attending Wine Over Water and I cannot wait. Often my family comes in town for the event and we have a whole weekend out of it. If you have any questions about it, let me know below!
Stay tuned to my Instagram (@RileySitton) as we will be doing a giveaway for TWO FREE Wine Over Water tickets!
Where’s your favorite spot for a glass of wine? Are you a red or white type of gal? I hope to see you guys at Wine Over Water! If you get your ticket soon, let me know so I can look for you! XO
