Above I shared a few of my favorite finds for Warm Weather Home Refresh on a Budget but you don’t have to purchase anything to feel like you’re in a new space! Here are a few of my favorite budget friendly tips:
Rearrange! I LOVE to rearrange things in my home. I get a lot of questions about why I do this and it’s because it’s like shopping without spending! Instead of heading to the stores, I look around my own place. Check out shelves, counters and your own attic. Swap things, mix and match and pull things out to breathe new life into it. It can seriously create a whole new look without spending any money. You can think big or small, too. Sometimes I’ll swap big pieces of furniture or move around a room’s layout.
Add Some Freshness. This is my favorite for Spring especially. Everything is coming back to life and you want to bring that freshness into your home. I typically am not a fan of faux plants, but everyone is seriously stepping up their game! All the plants I linked in the graphic above look so realistic, it’s crazy! They are all super affordable as well and great because they’ll last year after year. You can also head to your own backyard for some freshness! I love finding sticks with blooms on them for a pop of freshness.
Swap Out Your Textiles. I love switching pillow covers for the season. I find that you can purchase pillow covers relatively cheap and they make a huge impact on your home’s mood! I usually keep a few smaller pillows (like 20″ or 24″) and swap them out around our home. For Spring I look for lighter colors with light texture. You can also swap out throw blankets, I reach for lighter options in the warmer months versus heavy knits in the Fall and Winter.
Get Outdoors. Spring is our favorite time to get outdoors and spend as much time outside as possible! Because of this, we always spend a little more on this area this time of year. Last year, we snagged this Patio Set for such an amazing price and it’s amazing. It is still in incredible condition, is so comfortable and I love the look! It comes with a coffee table, but we swapped it for a fire pit. Ours is old but this one is the 2020 version. It’s propane so you can turn it on with the flip of a switch and we love it. I also am a huge fan of World Market’s outdoor rugs, they hold up really well and are so cute.
