Spots and Stripes

Pattern mixing is one of my favorite ways to add personality to a casual outfit. Cheetah and stripes go together like pb & j, plus it’s easy to throw on a for a quick coffee run or day at work.

Often when it’s rainy and Babe can’t work or when we are looking for a sweet treat after dinner we head to Milk & Honey in Northshore. They have the most amazing breakfast (& I actually hate breakfast food believe it or not!) and yummiest gelato in the world. You can get three flavors in your cup, I love the birthday cake and nutella. Their coffee is incredible but I also love their fresh brewed teas. The afternoon above I was enjoying iced Lavender and Hibiscus tea with local honey. Yes, please! If you’re a local, you most likely know what I’m talking about when I say this place is heaven.. if you’re visiting Chattanooga add this to your list!

I love mixing patterns because I think it makes your outfit stand out and adds so much personality. I love mixing camouflage + leopard, florals + stripes, leopard + stripes, spots + stripes, floral + camouflage.. the list goes on and on. Mixing & matching is the best way to extend the life of your closet. I dressed up my distressed boyfriend jeans with a big arm party and favorite sunnies. Getting dressed should be fun, try different combos you never know what you may find!

Ps. These are my absolute favorite flats for Fall ’15, they are under $25 and come in three colors! If they are sold out of your size you can find similar pairs here, here and here
