Online Shopping Cheat Sheet

I’m the type of girl who loves trying new things, new trends, new brands but at the same time I’m more likely to splurge on my tried & true favorite brands.

One of the most asked questions I get is “Where is your favorite place to shop?”. A great question but a surprisingly hard question to answer..

Depending on the event, time of year, budget, piece of clothing, or even mood I’m in, may affect where I head to first.

I thought it would be fun and helpful if I rounded up my favorite stores and brands + a ‘cheat guide’ to their sizing, sales, shipping & more.

Asos. This is always my first stop, no matter what I’m shopping for. Earlier in the year I splurged ($29) for free 2 Day shipping. I’ve gotten my moneys worth x a million. If you love to order online, I highly suggest this. They have a wide range of price points, so you can find items for every occasion. They carry trendy shoes but at a cheaper price than Steve Madden, Dolce Vita, Sam Edelman or similar brands. All around I love their pieces. Size wise it depends on the brand, the brands I order the most from there are the Asos brand it runs true to size (TTS), Boohoo runs small, Free People runs large. Other pieces are usually from random brands. Asos carries regular, plus size, tall & petite. They have a 30 day return policy, so I never worry if I need to swap something. Below I pulled some of my favorite pieces from Asos right now.  (PS. Most of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from ASOS, if you’re a bride to be check out their site for dresses. Just remember that the bridesmaid dresses run by wedding sizes)

Nordstrom. After scrolling through pages of Asos, I almost always head to Nordstrom. I especially love Nordstrom if I’m looking for a special event outfit. If I’m looking for a specific brand shoe or bag, Nordstrom is my go-to. Nordstrom is great about explaining sizing on their site. They also have a great return policy! A few of my bridesmaids ordered from Nordy’s and the selection of dresses on their site are beautiful.

Revolve. Revole get’s a bad rep sometimes. Their homepage can display shocking price points that has you wondering who spend half a pay check on a tee dress, but with a little work you can find the cutest pieces at the perfect price. Out of all the places I shop, Revolve, hands down, has the best customer service in the game. Free two day shipping for everyone, sometimes they even overnight at no additional cost. The return policy is excellent and free 2 day return shipping means your order gets processed faster, aka you get your money back sooner.

H&M. H&M is a great store but not the best quality. You pay for what you get for, $10 for a tee dress. You betcha I’ll take it but I know it won’t last more than a season in my closet. If it’s something I really love, I buy two. If there is a trend I’m wanting to try or something new that I don’t know how much I’ll wear, I always head straight to H&M. Their sizing runs small and the return policy is iffy, but most pieces are under $25 and worth the risk.

Wayfair. Wayfair has been stealing all my money lately! Since moving in with Babe and working to create a home together, we’ve been purchasing a lot of furniture & decor. The prices are unbelievable and the quality is superb. We recently bought our desk here and still are amazed at how gorgeous and well built it is. Whether you’re looking for a small coffee table knick knack or large piece of furniture, they have you covered.

Saks Off 5th. Everyone knows and loves Saks Fifth Avenue, this is the favorite sister. Aka all your favorite name brands at your always favorite discounted price. They also carry a huge array of Wildfox, one of my all time favorite brands. Wildfox sells the most adorable, soft lounge wear. If you’re a girl who loves a good go-to tee (#YesPlease!), Wildfox is your answer. Usually I stray away because of price but since they’re up to 40% off here, I can stock up on my faves. Wildfox runs big. There is a huge list of brands they carry here and right now select designers are an extra 15% off.

Urban Outfitters. Great for comfy cute clothes, unique home goods and affordable accessories. Most pieces run TTS and the return policy is fab. My all time favorite peplum tee is from here + many more amazing staples.

AnthropologieFirst, this is my all time favorite place to stock up on candles. They also have great clothing and accessories, perfect if your style is boho mixed with classic. The sizing varies, but usually they offer a good description on how it fits. Right now they’re having an extra 30% off Sale Items, I’ve rounded up the best picks below.

Free People. If I had to wear one brand the rest of my life it would be Free People. It’s the ultimate boho goddess vibe with total comfort & amazing quality. I know the price tag is a tad higher than other shops but I still own every single piece I’ve bought from Free People, even pieces my mom bought when I was in middle school. It lasts forever. The dresses run big, size down or size down twice. Usually the reviews offer a great insight on sizing.

Missguided. I love Missguided for their edgy, new trend pieces. The prices are great and you can always find something unique and fun. Right now you can receive 20% off by joining their mailing list!

Zappos. I used to think Zappos only carried shoes (grandma shoes at that) and boy was I wrong! Not only do they have an amazing selection of shoes but they also carry a wide variety of designers at discounted prices!! I’ve found some of my favorite Free People pieces there at half the price of any other store, talk about a steal!

6pm. Much like Zappos, I never thought there was much on 6pm. Once again, I was completely wrong. They carry so many great designers at such low prices.

Baublebar. This is my number one go-to for jewelry. The quality is always number one, the prices are reasonable and it lasts forever. Plus, it’s all stinkin’ adorable. Right now they’re having a huge 70% off sale!

A few more shops I love:

Sole Society. Great quality accessories.

Ann Taylor. & Banana Republic. Both great for more formal business attire, church pieces or conservative looks. Less trendy, more classic.

TJ Maxx. YES They have an online shop now!!

J. Crew.

I hope this helps you with shopping for whatever you need! Please feel free to always shoot me an email with help finding specific looks, pieces, sizing questions or just to show me something adorable you found!

Apart from this, the differences are abundant. First off, online shopping is done from the comfort of your home. You can compare brands, prices, sites, and online catalogues. Additionally customers can choose from top name and lesser known brands. Customers don't have the opportunity to try items on prior to purchase, but most online merchants offer free shipping and returns. online shopping in pakistan with free home delivery
