I honestly cannot believe my favorite month has flown by.. it’s November, in a blink of an eye it’s going to be 2016! I loved every minute of October but I regret never carving a pumpkin! I wasn’t too much in the ‘Halloween spirit’ and I was a little sad when it was over. I usually go all out for Holidays but I was so busy this month it just slipped away. I’m not going to let that happen these next couple of months with Thanksgiving and Christmas!
I have so many exciting things planned for this month.. Holiday parties for you guys, giveaways, new brands to share, more posts from my ‘Get Schooled‘ series and some behind the scenes/blogger tips! I wanted to ease into this busy month with an October rewind & things I am coveting for November.

–My Sunday Situation. After a super busy month, nothing feels better than a relaxing, rainy first Sunday night of the month. It’s the perfect time to answer some questions with Babe in our ‘Q & A’ Book. My favorite part of my nightstand is the October print in the gold bamboo frame I snagged from the thrift store. I share an October birthday with my Grandma so it’s a very special month for me!
—I snapped this selfie (while being stared at by my neighbors) before girl’s night last week. This skirt is faux suede and SO soft. It’s currently on sale too. I dressed it up in Asheville but it is so easy to dress down too.
–I wore this same skirt for exploring the Biltmore in Asheville. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS VIEW.. insanely gorgeous. I dressed it up with my favorite plaid, peplum top but it was perfect because the skirt hid the peplum and completely changed the look of the shirt!
–I wanted to refresh my purse situation for Fall & the holidays without breaking the bank.. my solution a Grey Crossbody & this wine bucket bag. It is one of the happiest purchases I’ve made recently. There are so many colors to choose from, I think I may order the mustard next! I love that it also includes a chic pouch/clutch also. It’s like two purses for the price of one.

–One of my favorite tips for home decor is to never place something in a ‘permanent home’. What I mean by this is changing & rearranging your home instead of buying new pieces. It keeps your home fresh and new but saves money! (-I’ll have a whole blog post on this soon but I pulled this shelf unit from our bedroom to our living room and wanted to share now!)
—I threw on this super cozy look for our road trip home from Asheville! This grey moto jacket is so comfy, it’s like your favorite sweatshirt’s chic older sister. If you can’t tell I’m having a current love affair with pom poms. I love the fun flair they add to any outfit!
—I’m all about grey for Fall & Winter. It’s chic and sophisticated + perfect for pairing with everything! During our trip to Asheville I went with an all grey with a pop of pink.
–I know you probably think these shoes are a little crazy but I love them for the holidays. They are so fun and pair perfectly from everything from a little black dress to distressed denim. Shop all my favorite ‘pom’ pieces here.

I love the change in seasons because that means shopping! While holiday fashion is on the radar but I’m seriously eyeing some cozy sweaters lately! They work double duty.. lounging around the house, snuggled up or paired with leather leggings for a night out. Here’s a few of my favorites..
