It’s that time of year again! Back to school is right around the corner, Fall is rapidly approaching and the annual Nordstrom Sale is here! If you follow any other bloggers you’ve probably already seen them post about this five million times, and maybe already shopped it. Today is the first day it’s open to the public, but if you have a Nordy’s card, you could shop early. As I discussed in my Bad with Budgeting post, I don’t have credit cards and I did not want to encourage you to open one just for this sale. Do I think this is a great time to stock up on some staples? Absolutely. Do you need every single thing? Definitely Not. Can you shop the Nordstrom Sale on a Budget? YES!
My advice is to REALLY, really think about what you need. I know it’s tempting to buy all the cozy sweaters, but trust me there will be more! Everything I own is really a staple piece or beauty tool basic that I’ve recommended for years. This is one of the very few times these items are on sale, so I do suggest snagging one if you’ve been wanting one. If it’s something you really love and on sale, treat yourself but don’t go crazy. Trust me, I’ve done it and regret it every year.
Below I’m sharing what I own and LOVE + a few things I have my eye on this year.
Nordstrom Sale on a Budget: What I Own & Love:
Regularly $180, Now $119
This is our favorite, favorite blanket ever. It’s SO soft. RJ & I both have one and since it’s summer it is all we sleep with at night. During the winter, we use it as an extra layer. I also take it every time I go out of town. Trust me, this blanket is gold.
Regularly $159, Now $99
See all my blog posts about this here.
This thing is a GAME CHANGER. Not only does it help exfoliate and remove dead skin but it also helps with clearing complexions, reducing pore size, evening out skin tones, keeping your face clear and making your skin so soft. This thing will definitely sell out fast, it does everytime it goes on sale.
3. Paradise Face Palette by NARS
Now: $42
This is one of my favorite palettes. I love both the bronzer and blush and having them in one compact is very convienent. I like the ‘Motu Tane’ color.
4. Lancer Skincare Jumbo Method Polish Exfoliator.
Regularly $145, Now $76
I know this seems pricey, but this bottle will easily last you a whole year. I use it once a week with my PMD to really exfoliate my face. It is the perfect combo! Your skin will be so glowing soft.
5. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings.
True to Size
Regularly $95, Now $64
These should be required in every girl’s closet! I was not convinced I needed to spend $100 on leggings but boy am I glad I tried them. They suck everything in, look incredible and are amazing quality. Dress them up or down, they’re so comfortable. I can’t wait for it to cool down some so I can wear them again. These will sell out.
Regularly : $55, Now: $35
I got these during the #Nsale last year and they quickly became my favorite legging. Cute, comfortable and amazing quality. I plan to purchase an additional pair this year.
Regularly: $188, Now: $125
I have this jacket in leather and wear it non-stop in the Fall and Winter. It’s such a great investment. The fit is great, amazing quality and will last you years without falling apart or going out of style!
8. Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan
Regularly: $116, Now: $76
Another purchase from last year that I’m still in love with. You know I am obsessed with my Barefoot Dreams blankets, so the cardigan is like a little slice of heaven. I like the circle cardigan because the structure makes it easy to dress up or down.
Regularly $269, Now $169
See all my blog posts about it here.
A MUST HAVE!! This little tool is such a game changer. It helps with the texture of your skin, fine lines, wrinkle prevention, helps your serums and creams work better, makes collagen production quicker and so much more. I used it every other night and some nights RJ even steals it. It’s seriously so good yall.
My Nordstrom Sale on a Budget Wishlist:
10. Rockstar Bootie
Regularly $119, Now: $79
I love these booties because I can start wearing them in late Summer and all of Fall. The snakeskin is so fun and will dress up any outfit!
11. GHD Straightener
Regularly $249, Now $169
I have this brand curling iron and it’s my absolute favorite (even better than the T3 products!). This straightener both straightens, curls and creates textured waves.
12. Area Rug
Prices vary by size
I’ve struggled to find a runner for our entry hall and I love this one! It comes in so many colors, I’m having trouble choosing which one.
13. Supergoop! Finishing Powder Sunscreen (Sold Out)
Sadly, this sold out before I could even finish this post! I wanted to try this so badly becasue I’ve heard it’s great. Apparently I wasn’t the only one ha! Shop it on Sephora here.
14. Topshop Heart Jogger Set (Top, Pants)
Normally $40, Now: $25
I’m a sucker for cozy sweat seats and this one is so cute + affordable!
15. Cashmere Wrap
Normally $169, Now $112
I try not to buy too much during the sale, but this wrap look so chic and cozy. I know I will live in this once the weather cools down so I’m going to purchase while on sale! I get super cold on planes so I know I’ll wear this often while flying, too.
16. Barefoot Dreams Travel Shaw
Regularly $110, Now $79
I love all things Barefoot Dreams and always like to stock up during the sale! Please excuse me if I never take this wrap off! I already basically live under my blankets whenever I’m home, ha!
17. Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Cardigan
Regularly $134, Now $88
I cannot decide between this one and the one above (or both)! I like this one because it can easily be layered and worn out and about, but so can the one above, help!
Normally $68, Now $44
I love this classic hat and know it will be worn constantly this fall. Madewell is such a quality brand, so I wanted to grab while on sale!
$98
I know this seems pricy but I’ve been DYING for this perfume and it’s much cheaper than normal. I tried to find a dupe but was accidentally posioning myself (story for a different day ha!), so now I’ve just decided to buy the real thing.
What did you get from the sale?! Did you shop the Nordstrom sale on a budget? XO
