April has been such an exciting, crazy month already. First wedding dress shopping for myself, we also have engagement pictures, my best friend’s wedding and I’m hosting a huge event (more info on that later this week!!). I often post what I’m wearing or doing on Instagram or Snapchat before I get a chance to do a full post on the blog. If you follow along on Instagram (@RileyBrahm), you can always shop my posts here: liketk.it/RileyBrahm
Just incase you don’t have an IG or missed a post I love to do a little round up for you guys!
Tuesday is already feeling smoother than Monday. My baby sister is trying out for the competitive pom squad at her middle school (it’s super intense, they are amazing and win nationals every year.) but this is her first year! I was a competitive cheerlead for years, so I know exactly what she’s going through this week. I honestly think my mom and I are more anxious than she is, I’ve had butterflies in my stomach after talking to my mom about try outs this morning!
A little girl time with you guys is exactly what the doctor ordered!
I snapped this Saturday morning before heading to Nashville to wedding dress shop! My MelMom gave me this tee in my Easter basket, and I was so excited because I had been crushing on it for months!! I love this little area in our room because it holds all my jewelry, so rather I’m getting dressed for an event or snuggling up in my chair with a great book, it’s the perfect girl corner! The brand of this tee is WildFox, their clothes are SO soft and flattering + the quality is amazing. A bunch of Wildfox pieces are on sale here and I’m trying my best from loading them all in my cart.
Gorgeous spring Sundays in the south call for one thing.. crawfish!! Our favorite place to go in town is called Champy’s. It’s fun, delicious (they’re known for their friend chicken) and a great patio. Their slogan is Forties, Fowl and Friends.. so you always have to get a giant beer! I’m not a huge beer girl but I love any thing citrus-y like Corona or Blue Moon. This sweater is perfect for transitioning to warmer months, you can’t see it here but the sleeves are SO cute.
| Lace Up Heels *3 Colors |
So a couple of weeks ago I was town between two pairs of brown lace up heels. The first was this pair in brown, the second was this pair. I went with the second pair but was still left thinking about the others, when I saw they came out in taupe I knew I had to have them. It was a great buy too because they’re super easy to walk in + I’ve had them a little over a week and already worn them three or four times, they look perfect with everything from semi-formal dresses to dressing up your denim shorts.
After being in Nashville this weekend, I was happy to come home and snuggle up with all my babies! I slapped on my favorite face mask and spent the evening catching up on our DVR with Babe.
With wedding season approaching in full force, I wanted to share a few beauty must haves to feel my best. These tiny perfumes are perfect to keep in your purse + this clinique chubby stick is great when you don’t want to worry about reapplying lipstick all night. This lash primer works in two ways, first you can leave it on your lashes while you sleep for a conditioning treatment or wear under mascara for a fuller, longer lash (see my full post on it here). This clutch and my gladiator sandals are a comfortable, cute and affordable way to accessorize any outfit.
I started making these hats when I found one on Pinterest, but there was no link to purchase. <–My number 1 pet peeve! I am going to start an Etsy shop where you can purchase them but in the meantime you can email me to buy one! I have white, tan, black or pink hats + any color sequins + any phrase or last name (super cute for brides to do their future last name!).
These flats were out of stock for so long but they’ve just been restocked in four adorable colors, including this pale pink! I love these because they’re perfect for any occasion and so comfortable. My jeans are some of my favorites as well!
With Spring here, we love to spend as much time outside as we can! The dogs love to run in the backyard & I love having this couch to lounge on while Babe grills or for my morning coffee. I want to grab an outdoor rug to pull the area together but haven’t been able to find the right one yet. I’ll have a full post on outdoor spaces once it’s complete!
A couple of weeks ago we went to lunch and antique shopping on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I don’t know what it is about Sundays but I always want ice cream! We ended the day with a peanut butter chocolate creation from cold stone and a walk on the pier!
Say a little prayer for my sister if you get the chance! I get so nervous she won’t make the team and I don’t want it to break her little 13 year old heart. We find out Thursday so I will basically be holding my breath until then! Have a great rest of your day!
