Last month, I had the chance to take one of my favorite trips ever. It was relaxing, it was so much fun, it was everything you want out of a girl’s trip. I wish I could live it over and over and over again. It was a trip I truly, truly hated to come home from.
I must warn you this post is long and mainly photos from our trip. I tried to narrow down the pictures as much as possible but it was hard.
|At Coast in Santa Monica. This restaurant was amaze.|
Here’s the low down on our trip.. I went to with my Melmama (stepmom!) to LA/Santa Monica/Beverly Hills. We were meeting my Godmother and cousin, who lives in Santa Monica. There was lots of shopping, lots of cocktails, lots of food and LOTS of laughs. It seriously was the best time ever. The extended weekend could have been extended forever and I would have been in heaven.
When we first arrived, we stayed at the Viceroy Santa Monica. We loved this hotel. Our room was so nice, had an ocean view and the cutest courtyard/pool area. The restaurant by the pool was amazing too, the perfect welcome to kick off our week! I thought I took more pictures of our room but I can’t find them! I’m so sad because it was insanely beautiful. The entire bathroom was marble. It was very modern and chic.
Our last night at the Viceroy, we attended a Silent Disco by the pool and it was so fun! I had never been to a silent disco before but I definitely hope this isn’t the last time I go.
We stayed at the Viceroy three nights and the Beverly Hills hotel two. The BHH was a dream come true. I have always wanted to stay there. I didn’t know this until we checked in but Beverly Hills was actually built around the Beverly Hills hotel. It was founded in 1912 and was the center of Hollywood. Everyone wanted to be close to the action and started building homes around it.
So many celebrities have stayed and still frequent the Beverly Hills hotel. While we were there, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, JLo and ARod were at the hotel! We never saw them but I touched Kris Jenner’s Bentley 😂.
The hotel is adorable. Pink and green everywhere! Every single thing in the hotel is adorable too. It’s all branded so well and we loved it. We seriously went around picking everything up, ‘Look how cute!‘. We probably sounded insane. I came home with so many shampoos, bath salts, lotions, etc. because they were so cute. I don’t even want to use them, haha!
On top of being a classic and adorable, the brunch was fantastic. Some of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Melanie basically had to drag me away, I seriously asked her to delay our Uber to the airport!
Besides lots of shopping and eating, we also did some fun things! One day we did the Malibu Wine Safari. If you’re a Kardashian or Bachelor fan, you may have seen this place before. It’s SO beautiful. I love Malibu in general and this place is no exception.
You ride on a Safari truck, while tasting wines & feeding animals. What more can you really ask for?! There was a wedding getting set up the day we did it and I 100000% regret not getting married there. It was incredible.
If you’re a fan of Bravo, we ate at Villa Blanca, SUR and grabbed drinks at PUMP. This was huge for me because I live for Bravo. We also at ate Formaggio, in Santa Monica and it was incredible. This is on our list for our Cali Road Trip in 2018. Not only was it a blast, but I was so happy to spend time with my family. Living in Chattanooga is the best but it often get homesick. I’m very lucky I get to see my family as often as I do, and I try to appreciate each time to the fullest.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this photo overload! If you would like to see more Cali post’s, check out some of my other visits here. Enjoy your Monday. xo
