Airspun Translucent Powder: under $6, This stuff is a great translucent setting powder. It works so well, better than my Laura Mercier or It Cosmetics Setting Powders. It is such a steal, too! From now on my makeup bag will never go without. How I use it: After applying my CC Cream (or Foundation if that’s what you wear) and concealer, I apply this all over my face before bronzer, blush, and highlighter.
Beauty Roller: My Melmom uses the Nurse Jackie Uplift Roller and whenever I’m in Memphis or traveling with here, I always hog it. It’s a small, metal stick that holds 24 massaging stones to temporarily energize, enhance, revive and uplift your skin. This celebrity-favorite tool helps to improve the appearance of skin tone for a more renewed, youthful-looking you. BUT Nurse Jackie’s isn’t cheap. Luckily I found this one on Amazon for $20 and it’s perfect! How I Use: Morning and night, I roll this over each section of my face for about 30 seconds. I focus on any tight spots or swollen spots.
Pattern Peasant Blouse: I wore this top in Colorado and I got so many compliments. It’s light and the perfect transition piece as the weather starts to cool down this fall. For now, I’m wearing it with denim shorts but later it would be so cute with flare denim or a suede mini! There are so many patterns to choose from, I can’t decide which one I want to order. Wearing an XS in Colorado, but will get a small when I order again. You could wear your true size or size down.
Mockneck Tank only $20, three colors, I ordered this online and as soon as it arrived, I went to check the price. I was shocked at how great it was for such an amazing price. I have white, but I’m definitely ordering black too. It’s light enough to start wearing now but will layer so, so well this fall and winter. Wearing a Medium, true to size.
Frayed Boyfriend Jeans under $100, selling out quick! I fell in love with these the moment I saw them! I am really into interesting denim recently. I think it adds a fun edge to even the most basic outfit. I took these with me to Colorado and both the girls I was traveling with ordered a pair as soon as the saw them. You can dress them up or down! Wearing a 27, my normal denim size.
Tufted Bench 43% Off!: We ordered this for our dining room last year but a few weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with the strange urge to move it to my kitchen nook (I’m strange, I know). I’m absolutely obsessed with how it looked! It did, however, look lonely, so I styled it with the pieces below.
Pillows: We have three of these Euro shams and I love them. They are simple yet have just the right amount of texture. I originally had them all three in my living room but moving two into the nook tied the space together so well. I love how cozy they make our little nook feel. If you have a simple white or off-white bedding, these would look so lovely on your bed!
Lantern: I got this at target for $14 but sadly, it’s no longer on sale. At $35, it’s still a great find! This lantern is large but perfect for indoor or outdoor. I actually bought it before I knew where I would place it but I’m loving it here! It’s one of those pieces you can use so many spots and it just works so well.
Artificial Banana Tree: Similar. Sadly, this was also a Target sale find but it’s no longer available. This tree is almost identical, minus the pot. You could easily place this in a new pot or basket but it’s also adorable how it is! I love greenery to brighten up a spot and an artificial tree is something I never have to worry about killing.
Wooden Bead Garland: I feel like I could stockpile these and still run out! I love adding wooden bead garland all over our house. I try to do just one or two per room or it can be too much. Layering it over books, lanterns, with candles or on its own is the perfect way to add character and interest. I added mine to my lantern and I love it.
What are some of your July favorites?! I’d love to see them below! XO
