Holiday Hoorah: Boho Babe

So, you guys know I love the Holidays.. I love the family time, I love the food, I love the decorations, the movies, the music -you name it, I love it. One thing I often notice though is that ‘Holiday looks’ are sometimes very preppy (think– bows, huge skirts, tailored looks). I love a preppy outfit every once in a while but my style is usually boho chic. I wanted to share my take on a Boho Babe for a million Holiday parties you’ve probably already RSVP’d to!

Jewel tones scream glamour and who doesn’t want to look glamorous this time of year!? I love pairing a few jewel tones together with minimal accessories, it’s the perfect combo.

Lemme break it down for ya..

Ayu Dress // Comes in three colors, size down: When I bought this dress this past summer, I knew it was a closet investment (something of high quality that I will wear over & over, for many seasons!). It’s handmade in Bali, the details are gorgeous and it is so versatile. It’s easy to dress up (like I did above or add a pair of tights if you’re worried about the length or if you live somewhere super cold!) or it’s easy to dress down (think -over the knee socks, boots and a cozy, sweater cardigan). The fit of the dress is ‘shapeless’ but it is actually very flattering, it’s perfect for those holiday parties where you know you’ll be going back for seconds and you don’t want to worry about anything fitted.

Fringe Open Knit Cardigan // $32, Comes in two colors, true to size: I bought this jacket last Fall & it’s been a favorite ever since. I love throwing it on with a pair of black leggings & black oversized tee, it makes even the most simple outfits pop

Frances Necklace [℅] // Color –Teal Agate, also available in Marble & Pink: Kendra Scott Jewelry is a timeless classic like David Yurman yet the price tag is so, so much more affordable! The pieces are perfect for layering and add just the little touch of something special. I love this necklace because you can wear it long or double up the chain for a very 70’s look.

Prada Retro 49mm Sunnies // Two colors: These sunnies are a classic investment & one of my favorite pairs! If you don’t want to splurge or maybe you want to try the fit and style before you invest– check out these dupes for $20.

Clutch from the Bleeker Bucket Bag // Comes in 6 colors, vegan leather: Ok I shared a little bit about this pouch in this post, it’s removable and holds so much! I love that it doubles as a simple clutch for a night out. The bucket bag itself is one of the best bags I’ve ever bought. It’s $68 (which is a STEAL!) and the vegan leather is so soft! It looks like I spent over $300. This would also make a great gift for the someone stylish in your family, they would never guess you spent under $70!

Steve Madden Gabby Platform // Two colors, $64: These are some of my favorite shoes ever. They have a slight open toe, so they work year round. They are surprisingly easy to walk in! Everyone loves these shoes and I’m so happy they’re back in stock!! If you’re looking for a closed toe version of this shoe, I love this clog
