Holiday Hairstyles- 4 Festive and Easy Ideas You’ll LOVE

We’re so close to Christmas and I honestly can’t believe it. This cocktail was much needed because I still have about 500 things to do, gifts to buy, a million to wrap and a looming to-do list before my “break” begins. I cannot complain though because I’m so excited to see my family! All that to say, I need some simplicity in my life. Ain’y nobody got time to be washing their hair every day and doing a million complicated styles. I thought it would be the perfect time to share 4 Festive & Easy Holiday Hairstyles. & the CUTEST hair accessories ever.

I think another reason I wanted to share this holiday hairstyles post is to showcase (and justify) all the hair accessories I’ve been buying lately. I can’t help it though! I love how fun, festive and adorable they are for this time of year. They perk up any pony, polish off any bun and add a unique flair to traditional curls. I JUST CAN’T GET ENOUGH.

Usually, Anthropologie is my go-to for hair accessories, but I recently stumbled upon this Sincerely Jules x Scunci collection and it’s so cute and so well priced. You can also steal ribbon from presents or Hobby Lobby and throw them in your hair too. Here are a few of my favorite pieces and the holiday hairstyles I pair with them:

  • Turban Style Headband // This is my favorite style headband. I usually find the cutest ones at Anthropologie (I’ll link a bunch below), but I found this Pink Satin one for under $10! They are perfect for those day-before-washing-day hair days. I love them because they hide the top of my hair when even dry shampoo isn’t enough. They also dress up simple outfits, are easy to wear and add so much character to your look. I sometimes use it as a traditional headband (holding all my hair back and out of my face) or I will leave some pieces around my face and place it on the top of my head.
  • Bows! // Bows are my jam for holiday hairstyles. They’re feminine, festive and so in style right now. Plus, even the most hair illiterate people can add a bow in, they’re so easy. This Pink Velvet Bow is so great for ponytails, buns, braids or just with loose curls. I also love an oversized bow in a classic ponytail, you could easily grab a ribbon from Hobby Lobby. If you are not the best at tying bows, this ponytail holder is pretied and so cute.
  • Dainty Embellished Headband // Another easy to throw on piece is a dainty, embellished headband. They add subtle sparkle to any hairstyle! My pearl one is old, but I love this Jeweled Headband for under $10! Pair it with this fun braid that isn’t actually a braid but a series of tiny ponytails. Everyone will be amazed that you were able to ‘braid’ your hair so well.
  • Embellished Bobby Pins & Clips // I’ve been searching everywhere for delicate embellished bobby pins and I finally found these Crystal Bobby Pins for under $10! ORDERED! I love how easy these are to add but dress up any sleek pony of boho wave. I also love these Velvet Salon Clips (3 for $9). I place them on the front of my hair, by my face close to the top of my head.
