Fall Lip Guide: Lip Masks, Glosses & the Perfect Colors

Let’s get one thing straight, I suck at lipsticks. Maybe I haven’t practiced enough, maybe I’m just not born to wear lipstick. I still need something on my lip though! I’ve found a few easy lip colors that work well for any occasion, are easy to apply and stay on well. #OhYesPlease I call these my Fall lip, but I’m not going to lie I wear these combos almost year round. They’re that good!

Fall Lip Faves:

Collagen Lip Mask (20 for $11) // Keeping your lips hydrate will help your lips look better, color or not. These collagen lip masks are so relaxing, help plump and hydrate and will have your lips looking better than ever.

Laneige Sleep Mask ($20) // I keep this little cutie on my nightstand and apply a thin layer every night. It works so well to moisturize while sleeping. This little tub is especially important during colder weather months when the air is drier. $20 and this tub lasts for so long! My friends try to steal it everytime they come over.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipliner, Color: Pillowtalk ($22) // I’ve heard so many rumors about this lipliner being a ‘hack’ for bigger lips. You slightly outline your lips and it creates the illusion of a larger lip while helping any lip color you use to stay in place. I love wearing this with my clear Too Faced lip plumping gloss. It’s the perfect neutral lip.

Coconut Lip Balm ($8) // Any time I use this lip balm, I’m instantly transported to a tropical vacay. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. I keep this lil’ guy in my wallet pouch so that I have it at all times. It adds a slight touch of sheen while moisturizing. You can also use on elbows, heels or dry skin.

Nars Lip Crayon, Color: Walkyrie ($27) // This is probably my favorite lip product I’ve ever used. It applies a rich, matte color but stays in place much easier than a lipstick. Since it’s a crayon, I also find it easier to apply. My favorite, favorite color is ‘Walkyrie’ but I also like ‘Damned’ for a berry lip. I originally tried this crayon as part of this two-piece set ($20 for both colors). I usually wear it matte, but you can also add my clear Too Faced Lip Plumping gloss for some added sheen.

Buxom Lip Plumping Gloss, Color: Brandi ($21) // This isn’t too much of a ‘plumping’ gloss but it does give you a little tingle. I mainly love, love, love the color and pigment that comes with this gloss. Also easier to apply than a lipstick, but the color stays on well. I keep telling myself to try new colors but I can’t quit you Brandi! It looks a little deeper and redder online than it actually is in person.

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme ($14) // This is the perfect clear gloss. It does plump a little, but not too much that it is uncomfortable. It adds sheen and isn’t super sticky. I wear it alone often or layer it over color.
