We’ve been working on our master bedroom since we moved in. Two years in the making you would think I would be happy with it but in true Riley fashion, it seems to be a forever on-going project. I will say, I feel like we’re rounding out the final lap *at least for now, sorry RJ ha! When we added this DIY Basket Wall last week, it felt like I was so close to being finished.
I’ll actually be sharing a Master Bedroom Progress post within the next week or so, but first wanted to share this super easy and affordable DIY Basket Wall tutorial. Seriously, it was so simple and I’m obsessed with how it turned out. I vote everyone should have a basket wall in their home!

First you need to collect your baskets. 99% of my baskets came from Goodwill. It took a few months of clearing out the basket section to gather enough. A few of them also came from Hobby Lobby. I think it’s fun to mix and match! In fact, I will be basket shopping on our upcoming trip and may swap some out or add to it. All in all, I think I paid around $30 for our DIY basket wall.
Once you have all your baskets, grab a measuring tape, box of tiny finish nails and a hammer. Start on the ground and arrange your baskets how you’d like. Then measure the width + height to ensure it’s the right size for your wall. Once you’re happy with everything, snap a photo for reference! Finally, start hanging your baskets. Just hold it up to the wall and gently hammer through it. I started in the middle and worked my way out.
See! Easy as 1,2,3. If you create a DIY Basket Wall, I would love for you to share the photo with me. Tag me on Instagram (@RileySitton). Stay tuned for our full updated Master, but you can check out what we have so far in this post. XO
