Since this is our first year with a front porch (something I’ve always dreamt of!), I was so excited to decorate it for the holidays! Christmas is the most fun holiday to decorate for, so obviously I had to go all out. I loved it so much that it became the backdrop for our Christmas card! My goal was a cozy winter wonderland. I hope our Cozy Christmas Front Porch brings some inspiration for your own Christmas decorations!

The cozy part of our Christmas front porch decor tends to stay all year. I love having this daybed on our porch, it’s the perfect spot to cozy up with coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and watch the pups run around with the neighborhood kids. It really makes it one of those pinch me moments that I cannot believe we finally live here!
Even though our daybed is meant for indoors, we used an air mattress on it and we haven’t had any problems with it! I use this technique to waterproof my fabrics out here.
For Christmas front porch decor, I wanted to keep it whimsical, fun and eclectic. I picked up an oversized lantern from Hobby Lobby and paired it with a few of our smaller lanterns we already had. Filled them with twinkle lights, candles, a small faux fur and some ornaments. Even though RJ protested having more than one tree, the more the merrier right?! I put our Christmas tree from last year on the porch and then got a 4ft tree from Dollar General to go by the lanterns. We wrapped everything up with some cute red stripe banters and a plaid blanket scarf as the smaller tree skirt!
How do you guys decorate the outdoors for Christmas? Do y’all like to go all out or do you like to keep things more traditional? Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to head to Instagram to see more decorations!
