Changes for Chacos & Chanel + More Engagement Photos

I’m so excited to share another look from our engagement pictures with you guys today! I hadn’t really had a chance to look at the pictures since the week we shot them and I forgot how in love I am with how they turned out.

I originally planned to share a ‘how to’ on picking engagement shoot outfits but instead I’m here to say good bye to Chacos and Chanel..

First things first, do you love our shots?! I am in awe of how incredible Alex is at capturing our true personalities and feelings during this time in our life. It’s already flying by and I’m so glad I’ll have these to look back on. A million thanks A. Bonds Productions.

Now for the harder part, the goodbye.

Not so much a goodbye blog, but a goodbye Chacos and Chanel. This has been something heavy on my heart and mind for a while now and I think it’s time to take the leap.

When I first started spilling my thoughts onto this little corner of internet I had no idea what I was doing. I knew I wanted a part in the fashion world but had no clue what I was about to stumble upon. As I’ve blogged, I’ve grown. Hand in hand, I think I’ve grown so much for my blog and from my blog. I have conquered some very scary situations from attending New York Fashion Week parties by myself surrounded by celebrities, influencers and designers I could only dream of meeting to rounds of auditions with ABC for our own reality show, this little site has opened so many doors and pushed me harder than anything in my entire life.

Even just writing it out now I have goosebumps, butterflies & tears. C&C has given me more than I could have ever imagined and it’s all because of you. Thank you so much to everyone who reads along, laughs at my corny jokes, tries my makeshift recipes and ‘likes’ my photos. I could never repay you enough.

But.

Just like I have grown, it’s time for Chacos and Chanel to grow. In college I sported Chacos many of days (& I often still do) while dreaming of a closet filled with Chanel but now I know the wonders of budgeting, splurging once I’ve saved and filling my closet with staple pieces. My life is more than just clothes now, I have hobbies and interests that I am dying to share with y’all that no longer fit in the restraints of Chacos & Chanel fashion blog.

So, I’m tucking this piece away and creating something new. The grown up, polished version of C&C. A place where I can still share my favorite sales and trends but also a place where I can teach you to grocery shop for one, share my fitness plans, my beauty faves, homemade projects and much more without worrying how it fits in the ‘Chacos and Chanel’ world.

Think of this less as a goodbye & more as a see you soon, new and improved. Carrying over my (& your) favorite parts of this blog into something new and hopefully, incredible. A new corner, where you can enter into every part of my life, not just my closet. Truly becoming like my best friend, coming into my home for a little girl talk.

Thank you in advance for your patience during this transition period. I will still be Instagramming (UN: @RileyBrahm) & Snapchatting (UN: RileyBrahm) so please follow along on there. I hope to get the new site up and running as soon as possible, I will be transferring all my old content to the new site so don’t worry! If there is anything specific you would like to see, please feel free to email me or submit anonymous questions or comments here
