The Chambray Shift Dress

If anything screams sugar coma, it’s a rainy, cold Monday morning after Valentine’s Day. Yesterday we had brunch at one of RJ’s favorite places (Blue Plate.. he gets a BBQ & Mac n’ Cheese Grilled Cheese!) and then spent the day being lazy. For Dinner I made Babe a twist on one of his favorites.. Perogie Lasagna and Peanut Butter Pie Bars. HOLY COW, they were both amazing & worth splurging on my no dairy rule for the night. I’m going to share the recipe for the lasagna later this week (I actually made it up myself!!) but you can get the PB Pie Bars here!

I’m a very impatient person, mainly because I get SO excited about everything. I getting excited for events, parties, trips and seasons. Once February rolls around my mind is on Spring. I start buying things that I can layer now, wear later. I usually take a trip somewhere warm in March too so that really gets me thinking about my Spring wardrobe.

During my daily browsing through Nordstrom, I knew this dress was a must have. I love chambray anything. I think I could live in denim for the rest of my life. It’s even better that this dress is SO soft. I love that it’s long enough for meetings and can be super casual or jazzed up for work or a night out.

Socialite Cotton Chambray Shirt Dress True to size, under $60! // A must have for spring, so comfortable and easy to wear. One of my all time favorite dresses ever. Would be so cute with a pastel sweater while it’s still chilly out.

Lace Up Espadrille Flats // I can already tell I will live in these shoes all spring/summer. They’re so comfortable like your favorite slippers but they are absolutely adorable with the bows!

Buckle Saddle Crossbody Only $38! // I love a good crossbody. I need one with a lot of room but doesn’t look super sized when you’re carrying it. I was shocked at the price and quality of this one and I love the double buckles.

| MK Watch | ‘X’ Ring | Sunnies (Comes in 7 colors, these are a $20 dupe of these Karen Walkers)

I also wore this dress to lunch last week and wanted to share how I styled it for cooler weather as well. You can’t see my feet but I’m wearing these ballet flats that I’ve basically worn everyday since purchasing them last week.

I hope everyone has a fabulous and productive Monday, my to do list is growing a mile a minute.. I might be sending out an SOS soon! Xo,
