I have been soooo beyond busy this week. I am moving to Memphis on Saturday for work for 3 months and I have yet to finish packing.. YIKES. I have been instagramming, some, but I have had no time for a blog post so I’m about to throw over a weeks worth of info at ya’ll right now..
Last Thursday I went to the most wonderful event hosted by She Wore It Anyways who I am obsessed with and depressed that I’m moving away so close to meeting her.
Since it was a blogging event I wanted to wear something that really represented my blog & I am going to share one of my biggest secrets with ya’ll..
I’m a big believer on wearing something unexpected, you don’t have to be dressed in labels head to toe to look good. In fact I actually purchased these shoes at the thrift store & they are some of my favorites. I am always keeping my eyes open for something unexpected because then you have a unique style, I will wear something from the children’s section in an XL or a necklace as a headband. What is the fun in your style if you are doing everything everyone else is already doing. Seriously from shopping to getting dressed to wearing your outfit should be FUN.
So on thursday I wore my Thrift Pumps, Target Kimono, Zara Skort and LV bag, it was the perfect mix of me and I had a blast. I’ve linked similar items under the photo.
We had a birthday dinner Sunday night at this delicious seafood restaurant by the river. I was exhausted from the night before, my best friends had a themed going away party for me. I LOVE THEME PARTIES. It was a White Trash Blast, seriously I cried all night I am so upset to leave them.
I wanted something easy and chic for Sunday night, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to wear my new maxi from TJMaxx. I was in no mood to do my hair but luckily a messy top knot perfectly accented the off the shoulders off the dress, I added my dangle Tory Burch earrings, BCBG wedges and wahlah!

Earlier this week I met with the sweetest girl and owner of Star Spangled Chic Boutique. She surprised me with these adorable gifts, we had tea & macarons, and shopped downtown! It was so exciting to meet someone who loved my blog and even better when it was such a sweet girl like Caroline.
I have been running around like crazy so I didn’t get as many pictures of my outfits this week as I would have liked but I wanted to link some of the products from my instagrams!
