Behind the Screen: What’s New at Work

The past year has been one with a lot of changes, the best changes possible! I have been working more than ever, but I’m so lucky and happy with what I do it hardly feels like work. In case you’re new around here, I work in Digital Marketing. I haven’t always worked in digital marketing but I decided to take the plunge a couple of years ago. Long story short, after blogging and maintaining my own digital presence, I decided I wanted to help others too.

But recently, things changed again!

The last two years, I’ve been balancing everything on my own (and well with the unsolicited and unpaid help of my very business minded husband ha!). I’ve been working with about 10 brands and wearing many hats. It’s been great, I cannot complain at all. BUT I knew I was needing to take the next step, it was time.

When I was thinking about my next step, I knew I wanted to expand my portfolio, work with new clients and make sure I was constantly evolving and offering my current clients everything they needed and more. I was hiring photographers a lot to help complete styled shoots for clients and it finally hit me..this is the next step!

In case you don’t know, my best friend owns a wonderful photography company in Chattanooga, Natalie Caho Photography. While she started with weddings and families, she has quickly expanded her portfolio for lifestyle shoots as well. I asked her if she would ever be interested in joining forces and she said Yes, Please!

After working on Yes, Please Digital on my own for over two years I am so thrilled to announce that we are growing. Natalie has a creative mind like my own, knowledge in social media and is a genius behind the lens. She’s a little more assertive than I am, keeps me on my toes and brings so much to the table. I knew it was a perfect partnership. Together I feel confident about accepting new clients and growing our team. Our next step in this journey is hiring some digital and photography reps and I’m so excited.

It’s crazy watching your business grow. It’s SO scary. It’s such a leap of faith depending fully on yourself. There are a million reasons to be scared but I like to always look on the positive side. I’ll definitely be taking you guys along on this journey more and more but wanted to give you a little behind the screen look at my decision, why I’ve been a little MIA lately and what’s been happening in this neck of the woods.

We are currently accepting clients and taking interviews for growing our team- if you’re interested head to or email us directly at XO shop the post
