Baby Shower at The Burch House

This past weekend was the kick off to all of the baby celebrations, and I could not wait to share some of the details with you all!

I am originally from Florida, but have lived in Chattanooga for almost 10 years. When I moved, I left behind my sister, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Everyone always asks me if I miss living so close to the beach and while the beach is amazing, if anything I just miss living close to my family.

It is crazy how time can pass, but once you get back together its like you never missed a day. It still smells the same and feels the same and I love to escape there whenever I can.

This visit was extra special though because my sister and aunts threw my fist Baby Shower! It is highly unlikely that we will all be able to get together again before the babe comes and while it was an intimate/family only shower, they pulled out all the stops.

My sister is the fabulous owner of a farm that was the perfect back drop for my shower. Think Bohemian Chic meets charming Southern Farmhouse. It is the perfect venue for events big and small and I highly suggest any destination wedding brides or subscribers in the area check it out!

The shower was held at brunch time and had all of my favorite foods (in mini versions) which were perfect for snacking on while catching up with everyone! To carry on the brunch theme we polished off the day with a bacon drizzle, blueberry layered cake. It. Was. To. Die. For.

While this shower was short and sweet for certain, the highlight was how much love it was filled with for me and my growing family.

I have linked a couple of the vendors that helped make this day possible as well as my outfit [non maternity sizing] and decor details!
