Double the Fun

The week before I left Chattanooga I met the most wonderful blogger/photographer, She Wore It Anyways. We got together to shoot one time before I moved, sadly only one time because I loved every one of her photos!

One of my favorite trends for summer is a two piece outfit. It is seriously so simple to put together and makes for a look so stylish and complete. I have a couple of different ones I've been hoarding in my closet but this one is from Target!

Try it yourself, match prints or solids, and let me know how it turns out!

Baby Blues

It was Friday night & the only thing on the agenda was Party Bus. I have been dying over this adorable dress I snagged at a Chattanooga boutique, Merch (which ships! So follow them on Insta @Merchnorthshore). I wouldn't normally pair a black boho piece with bright blue platforms but I was seriously mistaken. I snagged these beautiful baby blues at Target about 3 years ago. I finished the look off with some gold accents. I seriously am in love with gold right now something about it just feels SO glam. Also I grabbed this headband on sale at Francesca's, I've been looking for the perfect one, so I was thrilled when I found it.

Happy Easter My Stylish Little Bunnies!

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! It was a beautiful day here in my new city, Memphis so luckily we spent the day outside! I have been so excited to wear my Easter outfit and even more excited to share it with you. Unfortunately I don't have my computer here for another week so this blog post is coming to you from my mobile.
I snagged this amazing pale pink dress at TJMaxx for under $20. I have been wanting to try the drop waist dress trend but nervous about how it would fit my body. All my nerves are eased after trying this on, it was so comfortable and in my opinion flattering. I received many compliments. Thanks Teej, I am quite themaxxinista these days.
I am equally as obsessed with my shoes as the dress. Bravo Diane Von Frustenburg these shoes are a beauty. They were a little uncomfortable to break in, but beauty is pain ladies. I really enjoyed the pastel mixed with the nude and metallics finished off with a clear heel. Retro, fun, and classy perfect for warm weather.
I completed the look with my Kate Spade clutch I snagged at a surprise sale. If you don't know about Kate's surprise sales you're not living life right. I got this adorable clutch 75% off.

Sorry y'all I'm in an Extended Stay the rest of the month, computerless, & unsure how to link websites to my post! I will tell you the shoes are DVF Patmos Clear Heel Sandal.

Catch up on my life

Friday, April 18, 2014

I have been soooo beyond busy this week. I am moving to Memphis on Saturday for work for 3 months and I have yet to finish packing.. YIKES. I have been instagramming, some, but I have had no time for a blog post so I'm about to throw over a weeks worth of info at ya'll right now..

Last Thursday I went to the most wonderful event hosted by She Wore It Anyways who I am obsessed with and depressed that I'm moving away so close to meeting her.
Since it was a blogging event I wanted to wear something that really represented my blog & I am going to share one of my biggest secrets with ya'll..

I'm a big believer on wearing something unexpected, you don't have to be dressed in labels head to toe to look good. In fact I actually purchased these shoes at the thrift store & they are some of my favorites. I am always keeping my eyes open for something unexpected because then you have a unique style, I will wear something from the children's section in an XL or a necklace as a headband. What is the fun in your style if you are doing everything everyone else is already doing. Seriously from shopping to getting dressed to wearing your outfit should be FUN.
So on thursday I wore my Thrift Pumps, Target Kimono, Zara Skort and LV bag, it was the perfect mix of me and I had a blast. I've linked similar items under the photo.

We had a birthday dinner Sunday night at this delicious seafood restaurant by the river. I was exhausted from the night before, my best friends had a themed going away party for me. I LOVE THEME PARTIES. It was a White Trash Blast, seriously I cried all night I am so upset to leave them.
I wanted something easy and chic for Sunday night, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to wear my new maxi from TJMaxx. I was in no mood to do my hair but luckily a messy top knot perfectly accented the off the shoulders off the dress, I added my dangle Tory Burch earrings, BCBG wedges and wahlah!

Earlier this week I met with the sweetest girl and owner of Star Spangled Chic Boutique. She surprised me with these adorable gifts, we had tea & macarons, and shopped downtown! It was so exciting to meet someone who loved my blog and even better when it was such a sweet girl like Caroline.

I have been running around like crazy so I didn't get as many pictures of my outfits this week as I would have liked but I wanted to link some of the products from my instagrams!

Festival Faves

Tuesday, April 8, 2014

Coachella starts this weekend, kicking off festival season and even though I'm not going I still can't help but love the "festival" look. It's simple, casual, and perfect for a day outside eating ice cream or picking flowers. Rather you're going to be at Bonaroo, your favorite country concert, or just hanging out.. mixing and matching is so easy and you can spend less with a bigger impact.
I've linked some of my favorite mixable matchable faves on the bottom.

Spring Weekends

Monday, April 7, 2014

I love with the weather starts to warm up, I'm instantly in a better mood but I'm also so much busier. My late Sunday blog post turned into a late Monday blog post, sorry guys.

Thursday night we went to the opening baseball. I felt like my new anthro necklace + white tee was the perfect combo for a casual night out.

My pups love spring as much as I do. :)
Happy Monday
