Cookie Dough Bar Cart

I've found heaven and it's edible, mix and matchable, cookie dough on a chocolate dipped cone. Yup, I said it edible cookie dough!

This DIY edible cookie dough station is perfect for your next get together! Think girl's night in, birthday parties or just a unique date night idea. Easy, cheap, delicious, I don't really know what else you could ask for!

Think Marble Stone meets your childhood fantasies in this DIY creation. Remember growing up when your Mom would never let you lick the spoon?! Well this cookie dough is egg free and 100% safe to eat raw!
A couple of weeks ago I started thinking of a fun and easy dessert to serve for Easter Sunday. I wanted something that could be made ahead of time, would be fun for my younger siblings and yet still delicious. I had an edible cookie dough recipe from a cake I usually make and decided to whip up a few batches. Instead of adding in the normal mix in's, I let each guest pick their toppings and mix it together! It was seriously so much fun and so delicious.

You don't need a bar cart for this, you could easily set it up on your counter, an outdoor table or even your kitchen table! I would suggest a marble pastry board, so the dough doesn't stick to anything, this one is only about $20!

To set up your station you'll need:
-Edible Cookie Dough (Recipe below, I doubled it for Easter and we had left overs)
-Toppings of choice (We used sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, mini snickers, mini Reese's pieces, white chocolate chips and coconut flakes. The Reese's pieces were my favorite)
-A cup or cone!

It's seriously the easiest thing ever with the biggest wow factor. Everyone loved to watch it being made & had a blast eating their own cone.

Edible Cookie Dough
  • INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 2½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons milk, plus more if needed
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large bowl using a hand mixer or stand mixer, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter. Beat until fluffy and light in color, about 1 minute. Beat in the vanilla and salt until combined.
  2. Beat in flour until just combined. Add milk one tablespoon at at time and beat until dough starts to come together. Stir in the miniature chocolate chips with rubber spatula.

It was so dangerous having leftovers in the house! I could have sat with the tub and a spoon and finished off the whole thing haha! I called one of hubby's bffs to come over and get them.

I'm excited for a busy couple of months ahead, I'm traveling to San Diego for the first time in about 7 years so I would love to hear any of your favorite spots! Make sure to follow on Instagram (@YesPleaseDaily) to keep up with our travels ++ more.
