Life Lately

I hope everyone had an a m a z i n g Labor Day weekend. I know I sure did but it flew by. Seriously, it didn't even feel like a long weekend. I'm not complaining because the quicker this week goes, the quicker I'll be in New York. (Just typing that gives me butterflies!!!) Make sure you're following along on Twitter (@ChacosandChanel), Instagram (@ChacosandChanelBlog), & Snapchat (RileyBrahm) to see everything before the blog!

I wore this dress to a wedding over the long weekend. It's not technically supposed to be tied up but I love it when I tried it. (Remember when I said getting dressed should be fun?! Don't be afraid to try things & take risks, you'll never know how it will turn out!) I found an almost identical dress here but it's a little on the pricy side. If you're interested in similar options check here and here.
I kept my jewelry simple with a vintage snake cuff, similar here

Lazy Sundays are what I live for. I am usually feeling pretty lazy at this point in the weekend and reach for the cutest + coziest outfit for brunch and picking up some produce at the farmers market. I snagged this top at Anthropologie last week and I've already worn it three times. It's still warm here so I'm pairing it with denim shorts, but I've also worn it around the house with leggings. The back of the top is SO CUTE. I think I'm going to grab it in another color before my trip.

I wore this look out for date night a couple of weekends ago. In case you haven't noticed, I love my flares. I have a full round up on flare jeans here or you can shop these exact jeans here. I love these jeans for many reasons: They're soft, like super super soft. They are under $60. They dress up or down. I got so many compliments on how flattering they are (& I'm Five foot three!). And they come long, like so long I couldn't even find heels tall enough for them (if you're tall just don't put them in the dryer and they will stay long), if you're short like me (heeeey) just dry them, they shrink in length not size!

I'm a leopard lover. No way around it. I have a small section of my closet full of leopard and I must admit some of the leopard items are for special trips (think Vegas, Miami) but leopard accessories are the most amazing neutral. They go so well with florals and stripes. I was a little afraid of these shoes at first, they are tall. I bought them for my trip to NYC but wanted to test the waters first. I wore them to the wedding Sunday and OH MY GOODNESS they are so easy to walk in. My feet didn't even hurt all night. I am in love.

This dress was a summer staple, it is so easy to throw on and so comfy. Pairing it with my favorite green army jacket was an instant hit. It's perfect if you live in the south like me because once the cool morning turns into a warm afternoon you can tie the jacket around your waist!

One of my favorite parts of fall are the shoes (these are a classic for fall/winter), a second runner up is the candles. Fall candles smell AHHHmazing. I picked up this candle at the farmer's market. It's Southern Pecan Pie and I literally wish I could just carry it around with me all the time. I found an almost identical candle here, I also love the oatmeal cookie scent and cinnamon vanilla

This is a #LaterGram from last Fall. This fringe jacket was such a hit, it sold out pretty quickly. I have found an (almost) identical twin and it's half the price of the original + comes in two colors. Hurry and grab yours while you can!
